Villager / Wolf
Alexis is a third grader, and this is her first performance. She is excited to have the opportunity to be on stage and wishes many more to come. She has a great sense of humor, always gives a helping hand, enjoys singing and playing basketball.
This is Amelia’s first drama performance. She is very excited to be a part of Beauty and the Beast. Amelia enjoys art, reading, hiking, biking, and skiing.
This is Annabelle’s, often called “Annie” by friends and family, first HSP play and her favorite part about the show is The Mob Song and being with all her friends. In addition to performing in the musical, Annie is also participating in Girls on the Run this fall and is a great student. She also enjoys gymnastics, swimming, downhill, and nordic skiing.
Sausage Curl Girl
Axel is in 5th grade and this is his first play but won’t be his last. He looks forward to many future performances and enjoys skiing, soccer, riding his bike, and spending time with friends, family, and dogs!
Hello my name is Bridgit and I’m 13 years old and I have been in 2 shows. This will be my 3th and my favorite character that I have done in this show because the aristocratic lady is very fun to play and I’m in 8 grade.
This is Cai’s fourth play at HPS! He played various roles in 101 Dalmations and the Wizard of Oz, but his favorite past role was as the King in Frozen. Cai is excited to play a similar royal role as the Prince. Outside of drama club, Cai likes skiing, running cross country and track, playing volleyball, and hanging out with his friends.
This is Cleyton’s first play at HPS. He wanted to be in the Wizard of Oz last year but was a bit nervous. This year he wanted to be a part of the team and is very excited to be a part of the play this year. Cleyton wanted a bigger role but being this is his first play he has a smaller role but this he says will prepare him for a bigger role next time. He has been practicing “Be our Guest” a lot at home. Cleyton loves to do arts and crafts, hunting, skiing, anytime of activity using his hand, swimming and being with his friends
Cooper is thrilled to be back for his fourth production with the Homestake Peak, Drama Club. Some of Cooper’s favorite roles he has played are pepper in 101 dalmatians, Sven the reindeer in Frozen and “Tough Guy” in Wizard of Oz. In addition to theater, Cooper is apart of the Vail Valley Soccer Club and dances in Celebrate the Beat. Cooper is excited to play the Baker and Monsieur D’Argue !
This is Eden’s fifth show with HPS. She did 101 Dalmatians as cruelly devil she was in the ensemble in Shrek, she was a scarecrow in the wizard of oz, and she was Ryan in high school musical. This year she plays belle. The other activity’s she participates in are running cross country and track, in addition to ski racing.
Finnley has played Rapunzel in Wreck-it-Ralph, a Newsie in The Newsies, a Gingerbread Cookie in the Nutcracker, and in last year’s production of the Wizard of Oz, she was a Lullaby League princess and a Jitterbug. Finnley is also a member of Vail Valley Academy of Dance’s Repertory Company.
Hi my name is Harper Anders I’m in seventh grade and I have been on stage my whole life I did dance since I was 3 and I loved being on stage ever since. I have been in 1 show with HPS it was the Wizard of Oz. Other than drama, I play softball, ski, play piano, I do martial arts, I love to sing and read.
I am in Grade 5. I have performed in Frozen and the Wizard of Oz. I hope you have fun being in the play or enjoy watching the play.
Madame De La Grande Bouche
My name is Jessica Gross, and I am in 5th grade. I have been in three shows: Frozen as young Anna, wizard of Oz as the wicked witch, and now Beauty and the Beast as
Madame de la Gran Bouche. I love being in the plays and think it’s so fun. It’s a great way to make new friends and I get to know new people!
Joshua Gregory is in 6th grade and from EagleVail, Colorado. This is his first play, although he has been singing and dancing for years. When Joshua is not acting, he enjoys skiing, baseball, soccer, basketball, watching Anime, playing video games online with his friends, biking, hiking, camping, fishing, reading, and listening to music.
Julia is in 6th grade, and this is her first play with HPS. She participated in the Vail Performing Arts Academy Fall performances in 2021 and 2022 as well as Colorado Children’s Chorale Summer workshop in 2022. Outside of drama, Julia plays hockey and volleyball.
Louisa Aragon is a 4th grader and Beauty and the Beast is her second HPS Drama performance. She was part of the Lullaby League in last year’s Wizard of Oz. Louisa also enjoys playing soccer, skiing and playing with her new puppy Rio.
Lucia has been in four plays at HPS. She loves using a French accent so Lumiere has been her favorite character to play. When she’s not in the theatre she is hitting the volleyball against the house.
Hey my name is luis i’m in the 4 grade and this is my first show with HPS i’m very excited to do it with my older sister who has been two other shows before me i am 9 years old and my favorite character out of two rolls is the wolf because I get to do a lot of fun stuff.
Matthew is very excited to make his acting debut in Beauty and the Beast at Homestake Peaks. He has two older sisters(Leanne and Bailey), a dog (Dusty) and a cat (Stormy). He loves being a 5th grader and it is his 1rst year at Homestake Peaks. When he’s not in school Matthew enjoys playing outside, riding his bike and swimming.
Maxine Gilles is in 3rd grade and is so excited to be performing in her very first musical! Maxine loves singing, dancing, gymnastics, skiing, snowboarding, science, macaroni and cheese and hanging with her family and dogs!
Mia Hodul is in 7th grade and she has been in three HPS drama performances: Frozen, The Wizard of Oz, and now Beauty and the Beast.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and playing piano.
This is Micah’s fifth play performance at HPS! He started by playing Hansel in Shrek; then a variety of roles in both 101 Dalmations and Wizard of Oz. Micah played the villain in Frozen and is excited to play a similar role as Gaston. Outside of drama club, Micah likes to run cross country and track, read books, play basketball, and ski.
Natalie Burke is in the 6th grade. She participated in the Vail Performing Arts Academy performance in Fall 2022 and the Summer Camp in 2022. This will be her first play at HPS.
Parker Magel Lucic
This is my first year doing the play and my first year at HPS. Moving from Ohio to Colorado has been a great experience.
I love playing the legend of Zelda, it is really fun. I also like skiing & snowboarding with my dad & sister. Basketball is my favorite sport. I also love hanging out with my mom and dog, Ella.
My name is Peyton Nelson. I have been doing drama for four years. My first show was 101 Dalmatians, and I was the Nanny, next was Frozen and I played Anna, and last year I was Auntie Em in Wizard of Oz. This year I am Babette in Beauty and the Beast. One of my favorite things about drama is meeting new people in different grades and it’s a good way to connect with others. I love all the things Ms. Deb does for us, she is such a supportive and kind director. Outside of drama I love playing volleyball with my parents and friends, as well as doing arts and crafts.
Presley, a dedicated third-grade student, possesses a deep passion for the performing arts. Her introduction to the world of acting occurred in the production of “Mean Girls the Musical,” through VPAA’s Summer Intensive Program. Since the tender age of 4, Presley has gracefully danced in ballet and tap, demonstrating a remarkable dedication to her craft. Alongside her impressive dance skills, she exhibits a natural flair for acting and an enduring love for the art of storytelling.
Lady with a Cane/Fork
Samantha is in 7th grade at HPS. Beauty and the Beast is the second play she is in at HPS. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, skiing, and skydiving.
I am Savannah Ramker and I am in 5th grade. I have been in Drama at HPS for 3 years now. Plays I’ve been in are, Frozen as a snow person, and a villager. Wizard of Oz as the Lion Understudy, Uncle Zeke, an Ozian, and a Munchkin. Beauty and the Beast as a La Fille. I have also done summer camps, the Variety Show at HPS and Mean Girls skits and songs at Vail Performing Arts camp. I love acting, singing and dancing and look forward to many more years of it!
Born on a Tuesday and ready to terrorize her brother. She loves animals, especially dogs and chickens. Simone hopes to become a vegetarian but loves bacon too much! She loves art and painting sunsets of her grandma’s lake. Her favorite sport is swimming. This is her first HPS musical.
Sofia Magel Lucic
This is my second play at HPS . Last year I was an optimistic voice, ozian, and jitterbug. I love doing sports including running, basketball, snowboarding, dance, and cross country skiing. I also love hanging out with my family and friends.

My name is Swazy Slott and this is my second performance with HPS Theater. I played Little Elsa in Frozen and this year I am multiple roles in Beauty and The Beast. I love to act and sing and the productions at HPS are awesome! Thank you to everyone who has supported this production 🙂
This is Townes first time performing on stage. When he is not at drama he enjoys soccer, basketball and snowboarding.
My name is Trace Hooker and I’m in 6th grade. This is my 4th play at HPS. I was one of Cruella’s henchmen, Jasper, in 101 Dalmatians, Kristoff in Frozen and Nikko, leader of the winged monkeys in The Wizard of Oz. This year I am the Beast! I like drama because it’s fun. I also enjoy baseball, basketball, Xbox, eating and cooking.
Web is thrilled to be back for his fourth and final year with the Homestake Peak Drama Club. Some of Web’s favorite roles he has played are Horace in 101 Dalmatians, Braniac in High School Musical and the understudy to Tinman in the Wizard of Oz. In addition to Theatre, Web enjoys hanging out with his friends, dancing with Celebrate the Beat and traveling to new places. Web is excited to make his debut as Maurice in Beauty and the Beast!
Lady with a Baby/Plate
I’ve performed in HPS Drama Club for three years. I was in the snow chorus and townsperson in the productionof Frozen. I was a barrister and ozian in my favorite play so far, the Wizard of Oz. This year I am playing the parts of a lady with a baby, and a plate in the production Beauty and the Beast. In my spare time I enjoy drawing and writing.
My name is Wyatt Nelson. I have been in three plays which are Frozen as a narrator, Wizard of Oz as Mayor of Munchkin City and currently I am playing Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast. I play football, soccer and basketball. The reason I like drama is because I can make more friends and it’s a good experience. I enjoy acting and singing.

Stage Crew, Music
I have was the sound man for High School Musical last year and now The Wizard of Oz. I am in charge of all musical cues during the entire show. The who could not go on without me! I like video games.
Milana started acting in the 3rd grade with the Jungle Book and has been performing ever since. Now a sophomore at BMHS she loves the stage and assisting Deb at HPS with directing.
Director, Vocal Director
Deb Swain was the Assistant Director and Vocal Director for High School Musical and Director for Frozen Kids last year at HPS. Her first show with the HPS Drama Club was Shrek Jr, as Vocal Director. Two years ago she directed 101 Dalmations Kids and handled vocal direction for Sound of Music Jr. When not spending time with the kids at HPS, Deb has a small accounting business, directs and sings with Mountain Harmony, a women’s acapella group and sings with the ERPC church choir. Beside HPS shows, her most memorable musical experiences have been singing in South America for three months with the Youth For Understanding Chorale, and performing at Carnegie Hall with the Aspen Choral Society.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking with Golden Retrievers, Lucy and Molly, gardening with kitty Bellatrix, skiing, fencing and hanging out with partner, Don, and spending any time she can with her incredible daughters, Jenai and Rychelle.
