This is Annabelle’s, often called “Annie” by friends and family, first HSP play and her favorite part about the show is The Mob Song and being with all her friends. In addition to performing in the musical, Annie is also participating in Girls on the Run this fall and is a great student. She also enjoys gymnastics, swimming, downhill, and nordic skiing.

This is Cai’s fourth play at HPS! He played various roles in 101 Dalmations and the Wizard of Oz, but his favorite past role was as the King in Frozen. Cai is excited to play a similar royal role as the Prince. Outside of drama club, Cai likes skiing, running cross country and track, playing volleyball, and hanging out with his friends.

This is Cleyton’s first play at HPS. He wanted to be in the Wizard of Oz last year but was a bit nervous. This year he wanted to be a part of the team and is very excited to be a part of the play this year. Cleyton wanted a bigger role but being this is his first play he has a smaller role but this he says will prepare him for a bigger role next time. He has been practicing “Be our Guest” a lot at home. Cleyton loves to do arts and crafts, hunting, skiing, anytime of activity using his hand, swimming and being with his friends

Cooper is thrilled to be back for his fourth production with the Homestake Peak, Drama Club. Some of Cooper’s favorite roles he has played are pepper in 101 dalmatians, Sven the reindeer in Frozen and “Tough Guy” in Wizard of Oz. In addition to theater, Cooper is apart of the Vail Valley Soccer Club and dances in Celebrate the Beat. Cooper is excited to play the Baker and Monsieur D’Argue !

This is Eden’s fifth show with HPS. She did 101 Dalmatians as cruelly devil she was in the ensemble in Shrek, she was a scarecrow in the wizard of oz, and she was Ryan in high school musical. This year she plays belle. The other activity’s she participates in are running cross country and track, in addition to ski racing.

My name is Peyton Nelson. I have been doing drama for four years. My first show was 101 Dalmatians, and I was the Nanny, next was Frozen and I played Anna, and last year I was Auntie Em in Wizard of Oz. This year I am Babette in Beauty and the Beast. One of my favorite things about drama is meeting new people in different grades and it’s a good way to connect with others. I love all the things Ms. Deb does for us, she is such a supportive and kind director. Outside of drama I love playing volleyball with my parents and friends, as well as doing arts and crafts.

I have also done summer camps, the Variety Show at HPS and Mean Girls skits and songs at Vail Performing Arts camp. I love acting, singing and dancing and look forward to many more years of it!

Deb Swain was the Assistant Director and Vocal Director for High School Musical and Director for Frozen Kids last year at HPS.  Her first show with the HPS Drama Club was Shrek Jr, as Vocal Director.  Two years ago she directed 101 Dalmations Kids and handled vocal direction for Sound of Music Jr.  When not spending time with the kids at HPS, Deb has a small accounting business, directs and sings with Mountain Harmony, a women’s acapella group and sings with the ERPC church choir.  Beside HPS shows, her most memorable musical experiences have been singing in South America for three months with the Youth For Understanding Chorale, and performing at Carnegie Hall with the Aspen Choral Society.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking with Golden Retrievers, Lucy and Molly, gardening with kitty Bellatrix, skiing, fencing and hanging out with partner, Don, and spending any time she can with her incredible daughters, Jenai and Rychelle.
