FOR STUDENTS

AUDITION INFORMATION

  • Falcon Flight Night
    • Wednesday, August 13, 4-6 PM.
    • Stop by our booth to sign up for an audition or sign up online. Please only pick one audition to attend.
  • Auditions Before School Starts
    • Thursday, August 14 at 2-4 PM in Auditorium
  • Auditions Once School Has Started
    • Tuesday, August 19 & Wednesday, August  20 at 3:15 PM in Auditorium
  • Third Graders & First timer Auditions
    • Thursday, August 21 from 3:15-4:15 PM
  • Call Backs
    • Friday, August 22, 3:15-5 PM (Only certain parts will be called back & actor will be informed via email)
  • Mandatory PARENT MEETING/ CASTING DAY
    • Sunday, August 24, 2-4 PM
SIGN UP TO AUDITION

Prepare a song.

  • You can sing any song, including Happy Birthday (except if you are auditioning for a lead role).
  • Anyone auditioning for a major role, must audition with a performance track from Willy Wonka Jr.  That means using a track without vocals.  A cappella auditions are not sufficient for major roles.  Actors need to show that they can match pitch and musical timing. Go to the performers page where the performance tracks are available.
  • For chorus/ensemble and non-lead roles, other music can be used but it still needs to be either a track without vocals or a cappella singing is allowed.

Plan to read from a script:

  • Parts of the script are available HERE .  
  • It’s likely that you will be asked to read for more than one part.
