Willy Wonka Jr. Cast

Grade 4

Mike Teavee

Adeline is nine years old and a fourth grader at HPS who loves performing on stage. She has appeared in Peter Pan Jr. and is excited to be part of another production! When she’s not acting, Adeline enjoys singing, drawing, and spending time with her family and friends. She hopes to keep performing in many more shows to come.

Grade 5

Mr. Bucket & Door

Alexis Sacconi is thrilled to be appearing in her second HPS Drama club production! She previously performed in Beauty in the Beast and is currently a fifth grade in HPS. Alexis is having a blast being part of the drama club and especially loves singing. She is the daughter of Marc and Maria Sacconi.

Grade 7

Slightly (Lost Boy)

Annabelle (“Annie”) is a 5th grader at HPS and this is her 3rd year in the school play! She loves being part of the HPS Drama Club because it’s a fun way to spend time with friends and perform on stage. Annie has also enjoyed performing with VPAA. When she’s not acting or singing, she stays busy with The Cycle Effect, Nordic Ski Club, Avon swim team, volleyball, and downhill skiing. Her parents love the passion, energy, and great friendships she brings to everything she does at HPS!

Willy Wonka

Aubrey is performing as Willy Wonka this year in Willy Wonka Jr. As an 8th grader, this will be her last production at HPS. She has had a great time this year, as she has in all of her previous performances at HPS including Frozen Jr, Peter Pan Jr, The Wizard of Oz, and Beauty and the Beast. It has been a great run at HPS, and it is bittersweet to be moving on to high school next year. Besides acting, she also enjoys singing, drawing, crocheting, making crafts, and spending time with family and friends. She is so excited for you guys to experience this year’s show, which she and all of the amazing cast members have worked so hard to put together for your enjoyment!

Matilda & Oompa-Loompa

Austin Ray is a 4th grader who lives in Eagle Vail and is homeschooled. She loves to figure skate, play the violin, and sing and dance. She also likes to play with her four siblings and do arts and crafts.

Grade 7

Charlie Bucket

Axel is in the 7th grade and has been active in the theater for several years. If he’s not singing every last word of Hamilton, he’s running his lines and embracing every aspect of this experience. Axel is a great friend and an even better son, grandson, and brother! While passionate about theater, Axel also loves skiing, his pets, and time with family.

Oompa- Loompa 4

Calla is a fourth grader, and this is her second HPS Drama performance. You might remember her from Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew! She shines in the spotlight and loves singing and acting. Offstage, Calla enjoys science, reading, and art, plays soccer and rides horses.

Carver is thrilled to be performing in Willy Wonka Jr.! This is her second year in the play, and she loves being on stage and sharing this experience with some of her best friends. She loves being apart of the drama club and we are super proud of her!

Augustus Gloop

This is David’s first year at Homesteak Peak and also his first time performing in Drama Club. He is a very smart kid, he is a little shy but very respectful and his vocals are at the top. We are happy to support him at this performance.

Grandma Georgina & Door

Hattie is a 6th grader who lives in Eagle Vail and is homeschooled. She loves to freeski, read, play lacrosse, bake, swim, learn French and Latin, and play with her four siblings.

Grade 7

Backstage Manager / Door

Isabella is in 7th grade. This will be her 5th year participating in the Homestake Peak play. Bella is always excited to either be on stage or helping behind the scenes at the performances. Bella is very kind, caring, and loves to help others. Bella loves volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and track & field while representing her school

Phineous Trout

Jessica is in 7th grade, and this is her fifth performance with HPS. Last year, she played Peter Pan in Peter Pan. This year, she will be playing Phineous Trout, a reporter, in Willy Wonka Jr. Jessica is very excited for this year’s show and hopes it will be just as fun as the previous ones!

Grandpa Joe

Joshua is an eighth grader, and this is his third performance. He is excited to be on stage and has a love for the arts. Joshua loves singing, acting, learning, talking with friends, video games, skiing nordic and alpine, cross country, track & field, and playing baseball, soccer, and basketball.

This is Leah’s second year performing with HPS Drama Club. Leah is a kind friend and loves skiing, climbing, biking, art, basketball, and school.

Grade 7

Mrs. Salt

Lily is a seventh grader and this is her second performance with the HPS Drama Club. She enjoys being on stage and working together with the other castmates. When Lily is not on stage she enjoys spending time with her dog, Leia and practicing the art of Jiu Jitsu.

Oompa-Loompa 1

Matthew is in the 7th grade and has been in HPS since the 5th grade. This is his 3rd year being apart of the HPS Drama Club; he was a townsman/villager in Beauty and the Beast and Toodles in last year’s Peter Pan. He has the biggest heart and is always full of compliments. He loves time with friends and sports, in particular basketball and wresting. His favorite time in the evening is to cuddle with family and his cat, Stormy, and dog, Chico.

Veruca Salt

Maxine is so excited to be a part of the Willy Wonka Jr. cast, her 3rd musical production with HPS Drama Club! She is a 5th grader and loves theatre, skiing, snowboarding, science and hanging with her family and dogs. She is an amazing daughter, sister and friend.

Grade 6

Oompa-Loompa

She is a loving, sweet, strong young woman who loves singing and theatre. She loves musicals, especially Hamilton, The Greatest Showman, Six and has loved every play she’s participated in. Mia loves the outdoors, doing hair, makeup and spending time with her friends and family. She can’t wait to take the stage in this play—and many more after it!

Candy Man Kid, Cook, & Squirrel

Riley is a 4th grader who loves reading, skiing, and traveling. She is excited to be in her third performance after appearing as a “Pirate” in Peter Pan last year and “Mrs. Beaver” in a summer production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe in Washington state. She would like to thank everyone who helped make this production possible.

Candy Man Kid, Cook, & Squirrel

Russell is in 7th grade. This is Russell’s second performance as he has transitions from a flying monkey into squirrel. He loves to create content, sleep in, and being a big brother. He is a champion for guinea pigs and advocates for his need of Mega Stuffed Oreos.

Grade 4

Ryland is in 4th grade at HPS. This is his first play performance. Ryland has many other interests including soccer, mountain biking, skiing, camping, Pokemon, Harry Potter, science, search and rescue and more.

Grade 8

Mrs. Bucket & Door

Simone is an 8th grader. She likes to race motorcycles, skydive and swim with sharks. She takes cold showers and doesn’t take sugar in her lemonade. She loves animals, even cats, her friends, and her family, even her brother. She wishes her cast members best of luck and hopes no one cries on stage. She’s also looking for a new ghost writer.

Mrs. Beauregarde

Sophia is a seventh-grade student participating in her third stage production. She is excited to be back on stage doing what she loves. When she’s not performing, Sophia enjoys playing volleyball and basketball and finds joy in reading and creating arts and crafts projects.

Candy Man & Door

Swazy is a seventh grader, this is her fourth performance with the HPS Drama Club. She is excited to bring the Candyman character to life this year! Besides acting and singing, Swazy is a year round competitive golfer and loves to ski.

Grade 5

Yangchen is a 5th grader at HPS and this is her first performance. She loves singing, dancing, skiing, and the arts.
